Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel

The Special Forces Shovel is modeled after the original Soviet Spetznaz shovel. The Spetznaz soldiers made up the most elite unit in the Soviet Army. With a specially made Cor-Ex sheath. The sheath features an extra wide belt loop. The shovel and the sheath are often sold separately. We only sell the complete kit. Specs: Head: 2 mm of hardened carbon steel with a good utility/axe sharpness.

Our verdict: More versatile and by far more robust than any folding showel on the market. This ain't just a very, very tough showel but also an axe, a machete, and much more... Great for the outdoors, emergency preparedness, or to leave in your car in the winter time. The two screws that hold the head and the handle can easily be unscrewed with any multitool or swiss army knife screwdriver, so that you can easily store the head and the handle separately in your backpack for example.
