Please note: The Raccoon 65 is not just a Raccoon 45 with side pockets, it's a different model. Being very similar to the Raccoon 45, it is larger, with 65 liters, and it has some minor details that change in comparison to the R45, such as for example a Grimloc carabiner on the hip belt. The volume of 65 Liters is without the detachable side pockets, which have 9 liters of volume each.

Our comment: This pack features the quality of other well-known tactical brands, with features and details that we kept missing on the letter, like f.ex. the adjustable and detachable top flap to really increase the volume, Molle on the hip belt, removeable hip belt, webbing on the shoulder straps, etc. All the details and options with this bag make it more versatile than a similar bag of a very popular high end brand we used for some time. If you need that one(!) backpack that is very nice quality, versatile in both use and capacity, thought-through, and adaptable to many different uses, you should really consider this backpack!

The FAS Plus Military carrying system features two adjustable metal bars, in the back plate. Other than with any other back systems the back length is steplessly adjustable, and it stays flexible. The system length adjustment is designed to slide up and down. It will slide up to the maximun point that you adjusted steplessly, and down while you move. This allows the system length to automatically adjust to your thorax compression while moving. The shoulder straps and the hip belt stay right where they need to be, while a fixed system length would cause the shoulder straps to lift off your shoulders and friction in the hip belt area. The flexible back system length increases comfort and control while you move and it reduces friction. The shoulder straps feature fastex buckles for quick release, and the hip belt is fully removeable.
