Now you can enjoy traditional campfire potatoes without aluminium foil - the cast-iron Potato Cooker by Petromax fulfils the function of a self-contained oven, which guarantees successful jacket potatoes from the campfire. The specially developed tilting bolt mechanism makes lifting a safe affair, because the Petromax lid lifter fits ideally into the lifting eyelet. The two half-bowls are firmly sealed together, and the food remains inside the Potato Cooker, protected from ash. The all-round bar on the underside ensures that the potato roaster does not tip over. The raised rim on the top allows briquettes or embers to be positioned precisely.

The cast-iron Potato Cooker combines all the advantages of shape and material: The cast iron intensifies the flavour of the food, and the round design optimally supports heat distribution. This creates characteristic roasting flavours while cooking evenly and gently with all-round heat. The Potato Cooker made of cast iron is made for direct use in the fire, underneath and on top of the embers, but also for use on the grill or in the oven.
