Originally from Sweden, the Trangia stove burner has been in use for decades with both outdoor enthusiasts and military units throughout the world. The spirit/alcohol burner is extremely robust and reliant, and burning quite effectively. The lid allows to adjust the intensity of the flame or to put it out, and the built-in o-ring allows you to put your burner in your backpack filled with fuel.
There are a lot of copies out there, but none of it matches the quality, durability, reliability, and function of the original Trangia.

Our verdict: the Trangia stove burner is really nice for outdoor tours but also just for a day tour in the woods. It is more compact and lightweight than a gaz stove with fuel canister, and it will work just fine to warm up a cup of coffee or tea, or small meals. Obviously it works well with the Trangia Triangle, but also with the Picogrill85 as a pot stand/windshield.
